this is comedy. im glad i do not have this problem. kinda reminds me of a Mitch Hedberg bit. “When someone hands you a flyer, it’s like they’re saying, Here, you throw this away.”
I find it disturbing that all day long people walk up to my front door to deposit flyers and business cards on my doorstep. They often open my screen door to slide the card between the door and the frame so when I open the door it falls to the ground often blowing into my house and under my couch. At least every day someone has rubber banded a rolled up flyer onto my door knob. Sometimes they just throw it in front of the door or between the door and the screen. Today when I got home there was at least 7 various solicitations which infuriates me as I have to pick it all up or else by the end of the week it looks like a Sears catalog exploded in front of my house. I don’t have any money, I can’t hire anyone to do anything for me, if I need it, I already have it.
At least 4 of the solicitations today were for tree service. I know my trees are a bit overgrown but keep your business cards off my lawn. If they bother you so much, surprise me and cut them while I’m not home (just don’t expect payment).
